Today, Tuesday, October 25, 2022, WhatsApp has experienced a problem or error. it is not yet known what causes the disturbance or error on WhatsApp. And what is certain, WhatsApp users cannot send text messages or media via WhatsApp individually and in group conversations (WhatsApp Group). Until this news aired, WhatsApp down was still happening. A number of users have complained about WhatsApp being down on Twitter. It is not known for sure what causes the WhatsApp service error. However, some other users say that they can still send personal messages, it's just that the notification that is displayed is in the form of a tick.

James Webb Telescope Captures Stunning Image Of 'Pillars Of Creation'

A new image captured by the James Webb Space Telescope showcases the Pillars of Creation, located over 6,000 light-years away from Earth.

The Webb telescope was able to take this new photo by using infrared detectors to see beyond most of the light-scattering effects caused by the pillars' dust. The latest photo, released Wednesday, allows viewers to look at the activity of new suns near the gas clouds of the pillar, according to BBC.

"I've been studying the Eagle Nebula since the mid-1990s, trying to see 'inside' the light-years long pillars that Hubble showed, searching for young stars inside them. I always knew that when James Webb took pictures of it, they would be stunning. And so they are," said professor Mark McCaughrean, the senior adviser for science at the European Space Agency.

RESEARCHERS SUSPECT 'SOMETHING IS FISHY' WITH UNIVERSE EXPANSION

The pillars are located at the heart of what astronomers call Messier 16, or the Eagle Nebula. The area is an active star-forming region roughly 6,500 light-years away from Earth.

Previous photos of the pillars were taken by the Hubble Observatory between 1995 and 2014. The pillars are illuminated and sculpted by intense ultraviolet light coming from massive stars in close proximity to them.

Due to the pillars being 6,500 light-years away, they would most likely no longer be present at the location, as the photo was taken by viewing the pillars in the past. The light detected by the satellite took 6,500 years to reach the mirrors of the spacecraft.

The James Webb telescope, which launched into space last year, released its first color image of outer space in July.

There are seven categories up for grabs in this award. One new award was held at the 2022 Ballon d'Or, namely the Socrates Award. 

This award is given to footballers who are active in social and humanitarian fields. Sadio Mane who was named the winner of the first edition of the Socrates Award. 

The Senegalese star is known to be generous and active in humanitarian activities. For the Best Young Player category, the Kopa Trophy winner went to Barcelona star, Gavi. 

He equaled the achievements of his team mate, Pedri, who won the same award last season. Next up is the Gerd Mueller Award for Best Striker. This title was given to the Polish striker, Robert Lewandowski. The Yashin Trophy award for the Best Goalkeeper category was won by Thibaut Courtois. The Real Madrid goalkeeper performed brilliantly last season by winning the LaLiga title and the Champions League. 

The Best Female Footballer Award or the Feminine Ballon d'Or belongs to Alexia Putellas. The female Barcelona star won the Golden Ball trophy for the second time in a row. Manchester City was named the World's Best Club this year. The reigning Premier League champions beat two 2021/2022 Champions League finalists, Liverpool and Real Madrid. This year's Ballon d'Or or World Player of the Year trophy belongs to Karim Benzema. The Real Madrid bomber was the top scorer in LaLiga and the Champions League last season, and led El Real to double the Spanish League and Champions League.
